Mickey assumes Julian was stabbed to end the case. He finds Julian is alive in critical condition, and converses with hallucinations of Paraíso and Eddie which encourage him. Cisco gets the name and record of Julian's attacker. Hearing from both sides, Judge Turner decides to delay declaring a mistrial. Mickey and Freemann come to terms and end their relationship amicably. DeMarco appears to testify, and Judge Turner allows it, without the jury. Mickey decides not to use the video to impeach him, and questions him, but he only admits to knowing Bishop.
Sang-pil and Jae-yi decide to use Soon-ja and Oh-joo to get Moon-sook. Moon-sook chooses a judge she can trust to oversee the trial. Jae-yi investigates him to look for evidence of corruption. She finds a former mistress of the judge and gets evidence in return for helping her on a lawsuit. Sang-pil tells Soon-ja to switch lawyers from In-doo to him. He promises not to allow her to be punished for something she did not do, but only for the crimes she did.

The men of the Lawless Law Firm capture Kwan-dong and force him to give up evidence on Oh-joo. They then leak it to the media, who release it to the public. Jae-yi discovers that Hyung-joo is alive but that Sang-pil did not tell her. Hurt by this, she accuses him of only thinking about his own revenge.
It was great to watch their relationship progress. It made for a fun, notable experience and overall, it was a very decent and exciting show. Very underrated and worth a chance. No regrets.
sees Mickey contacted by a client of yore who's in desperate need of his services. Mickey takes on the case of Andre La Cosse, despite the fact that he's accused of murdering a sex worker the attorney had previously tried to help.
Sang-pil reveals to Yeon-hee that Oh-joo is behind the death of the former decano. Moon-sook plots with Nam Soon-ja to cover up the evidence and later rejects it and a witness in court. She confronts Sang-pil and tells him he has the same flaws as his mother, but does not know Jae-yi is listening. Oh-joo begins his Abogados Palermo Capital Federal campaign for anciano and works behind the scenes to sabotage the trial. Kwan-dong murders a key witness.
